Rules and Regulations
Examples of eligible projects include adding a new product line; adding new services; a restaurant adding outdoor seating and/or indoor seating; new point of sale technology; adding a new activity.
Examples of ineligible projects include adding a new staff person; operational expenses.
Business projects should be capable of being completed within 1 year of the award.
Business projects will be judged on their ability to meet a community need, improve customer service, increase sales, attract new customers, and generally better serve Brown County residents and visitors.
As a condition of accepting a grant, businesses agree to submit quarterly progress reports and a final report after 1 year.
Up to $5,000 in funding is available.
Applicants are not required to be a resident of Brown County but have a physical business in Brown County.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
